What do you do?
Write blog articles for my personal blogs and for clients

For clients I write in the name of their company to add fresh content to their site regularly. It is part of their Social Media Marketing, adding content to their Facebook page and Twitter account, too.

I write personal blogs about things I am interested in. This site is a Blog.
I sell display ads on my blogs, I also am paid by Google AdSense for clicks. I recommend things and get a sales commission from Amazon and eBay.

Advantages and disadvantages of this business
This takes more work than you think.

If you think you would like to be a blogger, start writing.
If you can sit down and write ten articles right now, you might do great!
If you can’t think what to write, this is not for you.

Try it. Think of a Blog idea.
I read magazines on the subjects I blog about. Whether I agree or disagree, I have an opinion on everything. And I can write about it.

Do you work for a company that provides training materials and company leadership?
I read internet articles and occasionally buy a book to keep up with technology and social trends.

I write copy based on personal experience, and some research.
I try to be sure to add information from my personal library or print books. This way it is not just the same thing you are seeing everywhere else on the web.

I run this business:
Flexible Schedule
How many hours a week do you work at your business?
Less than 20 hours a week
When do you work?
Early mornings
How much control do you have over your work schedule?
If a client would like me to talk about something specific, I do it as soon as I can. Otherwise, I think of ideas all the time. I create drafts. I take photos whenever I see something. Then, when it is convenient, I write a post and schedule it. There is a phone app, so that you can work on things wherever you are.
